P&O Australia have announced they are lowering the minimum age for their popular children’s club –the Turtle Cove club. Children as young as two years, and fully toilet-trained, will be permitted to join the club and take part in the fun activities organised by the experienced and dedicated team of childcare specialists.
The previous minimum age for the Turtle Cove club was three years old, but under new rules kids aged 2-6 can join in the fun. Turtle Cove is P&O’s youngest club, with three other clubs aimed at older children. Shark Shack (7-10 years), HQ (11-14 years), and HQ+ (15-17) offer age-specific activities and events across all the ships in the P&O Australia fleet.
The Turtle Cove activity rooms aboard all the P&O Australia ships incorporate a number of fun features for youngsters to enjoy. Daily activities are organised for the kids to keep them entertained (and give parents a bit of time to relax and enjoy themselves) from playtime with Lego and Play Dough to dance parties and movie screenings at night. Running from 09.00 to 22.30 – the club offers a comprehensive service to keep the kids playing and happy throughout the day and evening.
Turtle Cove also offers a kids’ dining option wherein children can eat together more suited to their schedules and bedtimes. Perfect for parents who want to enjoy a romantic meal or a delicious cocktail in one of the more sophisticated venues within the P&O fleet.
The move to lower the entry age brings P&O Australia in line with sister company, P&O Cruises, which offers kids clubs for all children aged 2-17 years old. Again these clubs are split into four age-specific groups – offering fun activities and games throughout the day during every day at sea.
